Experienced Barista Position

Duties:

• Handle the espresso bar like a boss during a rush, warmly talk to customers, be knowledgeable about our coffee program quickly, be able to float into the other positions easily (register, expo, and drip/tap captain), and respect other team members.

Requirements:

• Possess the Banjo mentality: service to the community through coffee. Therefore, must love customer-facing!

• Have specialty coffee experience. (Inside secret: We ask you to get behind the bar during the interview for a few minutes).

• Ability to commit to at least 3 shifts a week if applying for part-time, one of which must be a weekend day. Ability to commit to at least 5 shifts a week for full-time. Must be available to work weekends.

• Ability to commit to at least 6 months of working with us. We really like when you can commit to a year+ and we really, really like it when you can hang around longer, but we are being realistic. If you have some irons in the fire that might move you around in a few months, please be a friend, but don’t apply!
